About Bark in the Park

Bark in the Park was set up and is owned and managed by Rowan Johnson.

All her life she has been involved in the domesticated livestock on the family farms.

On leaving school she naturally went to the Askham Bryan Agricultural College in York and left with a Diploma in Animal Care.

This qualification enabled her to work in various veterinary practices in the following years.

A successful career in the advertising industry followed before leaving to set up Bark on the Park.

Rowan lives on the edge of Harrogate and has two dogs and two cats. She has had many pets over the years including a retired racehorse
 

Rowan is ably assisted by a team of helpers and trainees who she is keen that you pet should get to know. This will ensure that the high levels of service given to your pet will continue whatever the circumstances.
