Originally from Canada Susan now resides in the UK. Her passion for travel started at a very young age when her parents took the family on a road trip right across Canada and the United States to celebrate Canada’s centennial year. As a teenager she backpacked around Europe until eventually settling in England where she embarked on a career with horses that reached Olympic level. Travelling the world with the horses and was given a very unique insight to each country she visited and her fascination for other cultures has taken her all over the Globe from Hong Kong to South Africa. Her interest in writing began with an opportunity as Scriptwriter for a successful annual fundraising event for three years with her final production receiving Lottery support. Now a freelance travel writer, she is currently producing articles for Manor Houses Limitada, a travel agent based in Portugal promoting luxury accommodation in both Portugal and Spain and recent research has resulted in expert knowledge of the Pousadas of Portugal and Paradores of Spain.
